With 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a spacious ground-floor guest WC there is plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and there is another spacious rear kitchen/utility/playroom for BBQ prep or to keep little people occupied.
There is an additional 'tabletop' oven in here in case you are planning a mega feast! The oak-floored dining room has pretty stained glass double doors leading from the dining room through to the comfortable lounge with a log burner. There is full gas-fired central heating throughout.

Peat Cutter's is equipped with a full WiFi broadband connection. There's also a HDTV with cable/satellite TV and a Freeview box,
as well as a dedicated workspace.
Mobile phone coverage can be patchy in parts of the countryside, however, all of guests report great coverage in the area across all mobile networks!

Well-behaved dogs are welcome but owners are asked to ensure that no trace is left behind! We would add that dogs are not allowed upstairs and would suggest that the back door into the utility room should be used when paws are muddy. Dog shampoo is provided.
Little people and dog walkers will just adore the superb playpark and field just across the lane - this has to be one of the best facilities anywhere in the UK. Parents may struggle to persuade their children to leave especially as we provide football, badminton and cricket equipment and a skateboard.

Peat Cutter's provides the most fantastic base from which to explore The Lakes.
Lindale is easily accessible by road being just a 10-minute drive from J36/M6.
There's on-site parking for one small and another medium-sized car but surrounding roads offer unrestricted parking for larger cars.

Peat Cutters Cottage is idyllic in so many ways and we hope that you fully appreciate the peace and tranquillity enjoyed by our neighbours whilst making many happy memories there. Lindale is a village though, and as such there are neighbouring cottages around. For this reason, we need to be sure that our guests will always be respectful and hence we cannot accommodate groups of more than 8.

Lindale is a delightful village set within The Lake District National Park. It's easily accessible by road being just a 10-minute drive from J36/M6. The neighbouring village of Grange-over-Sands is just a short drive away and offers a fabulous butchers, bakers and greengrocers with a great selection of fine independent retailers, Bank, Pharmacy and Post Office.
Hop on the train at Grange and make the short journey across the water to explore Arnside. Visit the picture book village of Cartmel or maybe take the steam train from Haverthwaite then cruise along Lake Windermere.
Buses to Kendal and into the Lakes run regularly from the bus stop just around the corner and there are walks from the cottage itself and fabulous walks within the whole of The National Park.
